First Met Council has scheduled a series of information sessions outlining a redevelopment proposal developed by the Property Resource Team of BC Conference at the request of First Met. Council has directed First Met's Redevelopment Task Group to present the proposal to the congregation for review and discussion before there is any formal vote.

Three information sessions will be held:

  •  Sunday, Feb. 4 after the 11 a.m. service. See Note and link above to view a recording of this session.

  • Tuesday, Feb. 6, 7-9 p.m. in Room 200.

  • Saturday, Feb. 24, 2:30-4:00 p.m. in the Doreene McLeod Room. Please register by Feb. 22.

 Each session will present the same information. Printed handouts will be available.

 A congregational vote on the proposal will be held Sunday, March 4, after the 11 a.m. service.

NOTE: Because of the substantial nature of the redevelopment question, only members of the congregation are allowed to vote. If you wish to become a member before then, contact Ivy Thomas.
