Sunday School starts at the
11:00 am worship service. Children sit with
parents at the
beginning of the service and then during the “Time
for young people” children come forward for
a special time. After this, children go to Room
200 for the common time (except G5+6 & Youth)
for singing together and then they go to their
own
class room with their teachers. During the class
time,
a snack and beverages are provided.
Wonderful teachers! Many dedicated experienced
teachers and wonderful volunteers who love children
are
there to help children to learn Christian principals:
God’s love, Jesus' ministry and important
values of sharing, fairness, respect and compassion.
Our facilities
are great!
Newly renovated Nursery and Toddlers
rooms offer a safe bright environment for preschoolers.
(located on the first floor)
Other class rooms are located on the second floor. Each class room is
spacious, bright, and comfortable. We have a small gathering room for
common time and a large gym for luncheons and fun activities.
Exciting Curriculum!
We will continue to use “Bible
Quest” for Nursery to Grade 6. This curriculum
has an emphasis on Bible stories using a multi-media
approach including CDs. Each child will be given
a colourful hand-out to take back home every week.
For the Youth class (Grade 7-10),
we will use a new lectionary-based curriculum, “Seasons
of the Spirit”. New Children's Books
Hi, Parents, Grand parents, Children and Teachers,.
How to share our library books with all of you ? I had a chance to talk with our librarian David Chamberlin and we decided this system might work out for you.
Here is our NEW system for Sunday School. Attached is a list of new books. We have more books. If parents email David, he will let them know when the book is available for pickup. If a book is already signed out, he can flag the book card and notify them when it is returned and available for check-out.
