 Our new First Metropolitan Directory is Coming!

Our 2014 Pictorial Directory (left) is out of date and it is time for a new one. This is a priority as we will be having several staff changes this coming year. Our new website allows us to create an online directory that can only be accessed by members of the church and staff using a password they create. There are two main advantages to this rather than contracting with a pictorial directory company:

  • you as congregants do not have to feel any pressure to buy photographs and;
  • we can update the directory much more frequently. We will print some copies so that people who do not use email or the Internet and those in care facilities have a directory.

We will be working on the directory from March to mid-June. During March and April, we will encourage everyone who feels comfortable with technology to create their own directory entry and upload an individual or family photograph. This will require an email address. You may choose to keep your email address private, but we do hope that you will check the box that permits your information to be shared by other church members and staff.

Each Sunday from April 29 to May 13 and May 27, we will have a table in the concourse after the 9 a.m. service and in the Fellowship Hall after the 11 a.m. service to assist members of the congregation in creating their online directory entry and taking photographs. Please also let us know if you require a printed copy of the directory.

Once the directory project is complete, you will be able to access entries by logging in on the website. If you choose, you may also download and print a copy of the directory for yourself. Please note that the directory is for church use only; please do not share it with others outside the church.
