Public health regulations (as of  Nov. 30) require masks be worn while attending worship services and while in the building (readers and those presiding are allowed to speak without a mask, subject to distancing).  If you are not fully vaccinated we ask that you consider watching the service on livestream.

Join others from the Victoria Community in an interfaith service on Dec. 6 from 5-6 pm in the First Met sanctuary. This service commemorates the 14 young women who were slain and ten others who were injured on December 6, 1989 at L’École Polytechnique in Montreal. The assailant was a lone gunman who claimed he was "fighting feminism."

This service draws attention to the broader issue of violence at the hands of men directed towards women, especially Indigenous women, all around the world. The service will be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend in person.
