Join others from the Victoria Community in an interfaith service on Dec. 6 from 5-6 pm in the First Met sanctuary. This service commemorates the 14 young women who were slain and ten others who were injured on December 6, 1989 at L’École Polytechnique in Montreal. The assailant was a lone gunman who claimed he was "fighting feminism."

This service draws attention to the broader issue of violence at the hands of men directed towards women, especially Indigenous women, all around the world. The service will be available on our livestream page for those who are unable to attend in person.
