First Met presents presents an afternoon workshop on the Power of Mindful Self Compassion Tues., Nov. 26, 1 - 4 p.m.

Objectives of Workshop:
- Learn about mindfulness, shared human experience and self-kindness as components of self-compassion
- Practice techniques and meditations to increase self-compassion in everyday life
- Learn to motivate yourself with kindness rather than self-criticism
Content: Short presentations on key themes, guided meditations and discussion
Instructor: Wally Lazaruk, Ph.D., Education Consultant and Certified Professional Coach.
Cost: $25 with funds being used for Spiritual Care and Wellness initiatives at First Met.
Registration: Up to 25 participants will be accepted. Register by one day before the sessions at the church office.
