The congregation of First Metropolitan is shocked and saddened by the mass shootings at mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, on Friday, March 15. Lead Minister Shelagh MacKinnon and Board Chair Edeana Malcolm visited our neighbours at the Al-Iman mosque with flowers and condolences on behalf of the congregation and asked what we as First Met members can do to help.

For those who wish to express their sympathy, sorrow and solidarity a Book of Condolence will be available before and after all services and events on Sunday, March 17, and in the church office Monday and Tuesday (March 18 and 19).
