First Metropolitan has presented the Intercultural Association with a handcrafted plaque recognizing ICA's 25 years as a tenant with the church. ICA moved to new offices at 808 Douglas St. this spring.

In the photo, Lead Minister, Rev. Shelagh MacKinnon, Paul Jenkins, (left) Ross Breckon and Bruce Davies from First Met (right) presented the plaque to Jean McRae, CEO at ICA (middle).

The presentation was made May 17 in ICA's new boardroom, after a guided tour of the new facilities for the First Met delegation.

The plaque was crafted from one of the original church pews, that were removed in 2015, by artisan and First Met congregant Paul Jenkins. It will find a place of prominence in ICA's new offices in honour of the valuable community relationships that help make our work possible.
