First Met seeks donations for emergency situations

We at First Met want to be more prepared to meet the emergency needs of community members when they seek support through our church doors. We are seeking donations from the congregation for some staple items that staff can supply to these people in urgent need:

• brand new men and women's socks
• travel-sized toiletries (hotel shampoos and toothpaste etc. creams and lotions)
• clean t-shirts (can be second hand)
• pants (men's and women's)
• warm tops  

Our goal is to have a small supply on hand for folks in emergency situations - not to duplicate Our Place services.  If you have items to donate, please drop off in bags to the church office.
