You are invited to join a peaceful march and rally Feb. 25 asking the provincial government to keep its promise to protect old-growth forests.

The event will begin at Centennial Square (City Hall) in Victoria at 12 noon, then proceeding to the lawn of the Legislature for a rally at 1:30 p.m. featuring speakers and performers.

Old-growth forests are vital for clean air, clean water and healthy communities. The provincial government promised two years ago to protect those forests, one of the allies in climate action as they store massive amounts of carbon and help protect communities from climate risks like fires, landslides and floods.
