The Caregiver Support Group is open to the community and focuses on providing support to family members who have a loved one with dementia. The purpose of the group is to strengthen the coping abilities of active caregivers through sharing common experiences, learning about dementia and its impact on the family and encouraging caregivers to actively engage in their own physical and emotional health.
The group is an independent member of the Alzheimer's Association and is facilitated by Kyla Morrison Morgan and Emily MacDonald. The group meets on the fourth Thursday of the month from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel at First Met.
If you would like to attend, please contact Emily MacDonald at 250-886-9975 or Kyla Morrison Morgan at (250) 388-5188 ext. 226
