Children, Youth and Families

COVID-19: See our Children's Corner page at left for lots of ideas on things to do.

Sunday School leaders: Hayley Henderson and Micia Kanstrup

Hayley and Micia are longtime volunteers and members of the First Met congregation. We are pleased to have them provide Sunday School leadership and coordination. Hayley will be taking a break (temporarily, we hope) from Sunday School in order to take over her husband's care.

Sunday, April 5: The return of Bullwinkle, as he puzzles through what he’s meant to do and learn on Palm Sunday. Tune in to livestreaming at 11 am, or catch it later on Youtube.

Scripture this week: Matthew 21: 1-11 and 26: 14-27; 66 - Jesus' entry into Jerusalem and what we celebrate as Palm Sunday. God hears our thanks as well as our questions and worries. God won't ever desert us. "A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those followed shouted, 'Hosanna to the Son of David. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.'" (NIV)

Family talk: When you hear this story, what do you wonder about?
