Hayley and Micia are longtime volunteers and members of the First Met congregation. We are pleased to have them provide Sunday School leadership and coordination.
Mission: to teach and nourish God’s transformative love in an inclusive spiritual community.
1/ to share stories of Jesus and the Bible to enable children/youth to develop a spiritual framework for life
2/ to involve and encourage all in worship, outreach, and community engagement
3/ to give and teach tools to our children and youth, core beliefs, and practices of the United Church
November 17 - Today's bell ringer is Christie! In Sunday School we'll learn that God wants us to know peace in our world and to have happy and meaningful lives. All of that while rehearsing lines, painting props and fine-tuning costumes!
Scripture Today: Isaiah 65: 17-25
"The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox." NIV
Family talk: How can we use Isaiah's words and be like lanterns, lighting the way for ourselves and others?
