KAIROS Blanket Exercise

The KAIROS Blanket Exercise is being offered after the soup social on November 17 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Offered jointly by First Metropolitan United Church, KAIROS and Aboriginal Neighbours, the exercise is open to the public.  The exercise is a unique, participatory history lesson – developed in collaboration with Indigenous Elders, knowledge keepers and educators – that fosters truth, understanding, respect and reconciliation among Indigenous and non-indigenous peoples. We are grateful for the leadership of indigenous partners joining us for this community experiential learning event and the circle debrief that follows.  The cost of the event is on a sliding scale from $5 to $15. Please register for this event. Come at noon for a bowl of soup available at a small charge of $6.
